The Golchha Group has provided Rs. 1 crore to the Patan Institute of Health Sciences to make the treatment of corona infection more effective. Chairman and Managing Director of Golchha Group Mr. Shekhar Golchha handed over Rs. 1 crore to Rajesh Nath Gongal, Vice-Chancellor of Patan Institute of Health Sciences. In the difficult situation of the first wave of the corona, the Patan Institute of Health Sciences was able to save the lives of many infected people through its services by doing important work to fight corona through Patan Hospital. Highly appreciating the commendable work done by the hospital for its excellent work, the Golchha Group handed over the donation to make it easier for them to cope with the inconvenient situation caused by the second wave. The hospital said the money provided by the Golchha group would be used to manage oxygen, fill equipment shortages, facilitate services provided by health workers and increase the number of beds needed by patients, as well as other measures to combat corona infection.
Mr. Shekhar Golchha, Chairman and Managing Director of Golchha Group, said,
“The country is currently going through a very difficult situation and this second wave of Corona has made us all very embarrassed. We are very happy to be able to help Patan Hospital in this time of the epidemic. We also collaborated with some other organizations against Corona during the first wave of Corona and during the lockdown. At the time of the lockdown, we had chartered 10,000 PCR Fertility Kit planes from the Temasek Foundation, a Singaporean charity, and handed them over to the government. Which was used by health workers working on the frontline to test Kovid-19 patients across the country. We have initiated a collaboration with the Patan Institute of Health Sciences and will continue to do so in the future. This is a new partnership with the health sector launched under our organization's social responsibility. ”
Mr. Rajesh Nath Gongal, Vice-Chancellor, Patan Institute of Health Sciences, said,
"This support will definitely boost the morale of our frontline health workers as well. I would like to thank the Chairman of the Golchha Group, who is also leading the entire private sector, for the handicrafts that the private sector has given us to deal with such a difficult situation. ”
